Sun & Sand Sports, largest sports retailer in UAE & Dubai, traces its roots back to the sunny shores of Dubai. Mr Abdul Aziz found, in 1979, while watching a football match found himself awestruck by a super hard kick by one of the players which made his shoe fly.He immediately thought of an idea of introducing freshest and top shoes brands from world over to Dubai.
The idea took a shape years later and first traditional store was opened in Al Ghurair in 1985. What followed was another store in Deira City Centre in 1997 which was at that time the first large format in-mall concept.
The logo was redesigned in 2000 and the brand started taking over the GCC countries by storm including Bahrain, Qatar, Saudi, Oman, and more.
Another logo design was introduced in 2015 with the launch of a website creating the digital presence for the brand to reach wider audiences. Sun and Sands Sports has since then achieved many milestones and has become a leading sports retailer in the Middle-East.
